Portraits matter because people change. Seasons shift, children grow, parents age, and the little details you think you’ll always remember slowly soften over time. A portrait freezes this exact chapter: the way your child fits in your arms, the laugh lines forming around your eyes, the connection you share right now. Those photographs become anchors to moments that once felt ordinary but later mean everything. 

When I was pregnant with my firstborn, my husband and I let time slip by and we didn't get newborn photos taken. We so regret not getting pictures done because the days of our baby's tiny, wrinkly feet and grandpa facial expressions are long over. I so don't want you to regret not having your portraits taken because all of a sudden, you blink and your babies are all grown up and you'll wish you could look at that scrunchy button-nose one more time.
