Let’s do this! Congratulations on this beautiful new chapter: you’re becoming a mom. Whether it’s your first baby or you’ve walked this path before, every pregnancy is its own unique journey. This season passes quickly, and it’s worth taking a moment to preserve it just as it is. You deserve an experience that feels joyful and relaxed, where you can truly embrace this moment and feel confident as the incredible mom-to-be you are.
As a Baltimore maternity photographer, my goal is to create a maternity session that feels easy, fun, and completely stress-free (with some laughs along the way). More than anything, I want to help you document this chapter so that years from now you and the family you’re growing can look back and remember exactly how it felt to be at the very beginning of it all. What an incredible legacy you're leaving!
Let's start this conversation! I’d love to hear all about this season—when you’re due, whether you’re sharing the baby’s gender (or keeping it a surprise), and what you’ve been enjoying most about this journey into motherhood.
Reach out and we’ll talk through your vision for the session and the kind of images you’d love to create. From there, we’ll choose a date that works best and get your session officially on the calendar. The excitement is just getting started.
1. Say Hello
Once your session is officially on the calendar, we’ll begin planning the details together. I can help with choosing the location you’re drawn to whether it’s a garden, field, in-home session, or something else!
I’ll also help you think through wardrobe so you feel comfortable and confident during your session. Whether you prefer something flowy or more fitted to highlight your bump, we’ll choose pieces that photograph beautifully and reflect your personal style. Depending on the package you choose, you may include up to two outfits.
2. planning your session
I’m here to guide you through every step of this process and support you along the way. Please feel free to ask questions at any point—I’m always happy to help and want you to feel confident and cared for throughout the experience. My goal is to make sure you feel supported, relaxed, and fully present as you celebrate this chapter of your maternity journey.
3. Ask me anything
Your session has arrived! My goal is to make you feel confident, radiant, and completely at ease. We’ll take our time, moving through the session thoughtfully so that every moment feels natural and intentional. I want you to be fully present with your little one on the way and simply enjoy this special season. While the session is light and joyful, I also want it to feel calm and peaceful. You’re about to welcome your little bundle of joy into your life!
4. Let's shoot!
Yay! Your session is complete! You can expect your online gallery within one week. After taking a moment to soak in all the special moments and the beautiful family you’re creating, you’ll be able to download your photos directly from the gallery. And of course, you can always reach out to me if you’d like prints to display and treasure in your home.

Each session lasts about 60 minutes, allowing time to move naturally and capture a variety of moments. You’re welcome to bring one to two outfits for added variety in your photos. Afterward, you’ll receive an online gallery with over 60 carefully edited images within two weeks, along with unlimited print rights to download, print, and share your photos freely.

"Shortly after having our daughter, we moved into a new home. My husband and I knew we wanted to capture this transition in our newborn photos. Lauren worked with us to beautifully capture our family in our old home as well as our new home, and in one session that worked around our newborn’s eating and sleeping schedule.
