Most couples book 9-15 month before the wedding date. The exact timing can depend on the season (fall dates go FAST!), location and day of the week.
If you already have you wedding venue and the date finalized, it's smart to book your wedding photographer immediately!

Yes, I’ve photographed weddings at a variety of venues throughout Baltimore and the surrounding area. I’m familiar with many different settings, from historic spaces to waterfront locations, and I’m comfortable adapting to each venue’s unique light and atmosphere. Some areas I’ve photographed in include Fells Point, the Baltimore Museum of Art, The Walter's Art Gallery and also other locations across Baltimore and the greater Maryland area.
3. Have you photographed baltimore venues before?

Yes, I photograph weddings outside of Baltimore and am happy to travel throughout Maryland and the DMV area. For locations more than 40 miles away, a small travel fee may apply depending on the distance. If your celebration is somewhere meaningful to you, I’m always open to discussing travel!
4. Do you work outside of baltimore?

If it rains, I simply adjust the plan (with your coordinator) and keep photographing. Rain can actually create some beautiful, unique images, and I’m always prepared to work with the weather and find the best light and locations available. If needed, we can also use covered areas or move certain portraits indoors to keep things comfortable.

"Shortly after having our daughter, we moved into a new home. My husband and I knew we wanted to capture this transition in our newborn photos. Lauren worked with us to beautifully capture our family in our old home as well as our new home, and in one session that worked around our newborn’s eating and sleeping schedule.
